Yoga Foundations
Start yoga with confidence and ease
Are you interested in starting yoga? Maybe your physician or therapist suggested it, but you're not sure where to start or how to begin? Maybe you want a little more information on WHY and what to do when you're on the mat.
If that sounds familiar, our Yoga Foundations program is for you!
In this program, we will teach you how to find the right props, how to safely practice some key yoga poses, and different modifications you can use to feel more comfortable and supported on the mat.
You will learn the building blocks of yoga practice, what it means to work on your mind and body, and how to start slow so you can find a style of yoga that fits you.
You'll learn things that we typically don't share in regular classes, including why we do what we do on the mat and the fundamentals of yoga philosophy.
You will learn the science behind why yoga works.
And you'll learn it all in gentle, supportive, inviting yoga classes that are beginner-friendly and very accessible.
In this program, you'll get the things we don't talk about in your average yoga class, but that are so fundamental and helpful when practicing yoga.
These concepts are universal. You can bring them with you to ANY studio, ANY class, practiced ANYWHERE!
Yoga Foundations covers will teach you foundational poses you might be familiar with, with a new flare. We'll teach you the right way to not just align your bones, we'll also teach you which muscles to use and how to do these shapes safely.
